Sony Explain Why The PS3 Slim Has No Backwards Compatibility …

Probably a happy medium would be Sony releasing a backwards compatibility download on PSN which users who were interested in could pay for the privilege but I doubt that would happen. Why make consumers pay once when they could be made to pay over and over again.
