How do I use the PS3 controller to watch movies? Which buttons do what? Is there a picture I could download?

Triangle- pull up little pop up menu
X- play/stop
square- doesn’t do anything (i think)
circle- quit movie (option will come up)
R1- next chapter
L1- previous chapter
R2- fast forward (hold down)
L2- rewind (hold down)
R3- subtitles (right analong stick, click it down)

How to backup a movie from ps3 to HDD?

I want to change my PS3 HDD and I have two movies saved on my ps3
Now each movie is about 7gb, if I use the backup utility before changing my ps3 HDD, will it backup my movies also?

Because I tried plugging an external HDD to my ps3 and tried copying the movie files to the external HDD, but it doesn’t work since its a FAT32 and won’t accept files bigger than 4gb?

So anyway I can save those movies?

i put the movies i bought on itunes into a folder and than on a usb and tried putting it in my ps3 and when i bring up the files it just says corrupted file. I’m assuming that is because the file is in itunes format, i tried using several converting programs and i had no success. does anyone know a solution to this problem, i don’t see how there couldn’t since many people must have this issue. thanks a lot!!

I want to legally download movies to my computer, but I will play them in my PS3. I’m a mac user, and by what I heard if I download movies form iTunes they will not be playable outside my computer, so that’s no good. I know how to convert formats, I just need to know a website that sells movies that can be converted without much trouble, works in Europe, has lots of titles and is 100% legal.
